I think natural disasters ought to be a category. I've had recurring nightmares where I'm going about my daily business. Then as I look up, I see an asteroid suddenly ripping through the sky and striking the earth. I can hear people screaming in panic all around me, and it always ends with the ground shaking beneath my feet and a growing red glow just above the horizon that's headed towards me. I always think "Wow... I guess this is it!" But the moment death is supposed to come I wake up.
